Bowls in Dortmund
We have five bowls on the menu: one sweet, four savoury, and one vegan. You'll find them at Café Bernstein, Kampstraße 45, right in Dortmund city centre.
Açaí Bowl in Dortmund
The Açaí Bowl is the sweet one of the five. Açaí purée forms the base, topped with granola, fresh fruit and coconut flakes. It's cold, fruity and quick to eat.
Have it instead of a breakfast plate in the morning or cake in the afternoon. If you're looking for an acai bowl in Dortmund, enjoy ours at your table or take it away.
Our savoury bowls
Four bowls cater for a bigger appetite:
- Salmon Bowl with rice, marinated salmon cubes, avocado, cucumber and carrot strips, edamame, cherry tomatoes and sesame dressing.
- Chicken Bowl with rice, marinated chicken breast, sweetcorn, avocado, pickled onions, cherry tomatoes, cucumber strips and a lime wedge.
- Kebab Bowl with rice, kebab, feta, cucumber strips, cherry tomatoes, red cabbage and pickled onions.
- Vegan Falafel Bowl with rosemary potatoes, falafel patties, cucumber strips, peppers, cherry tomatoes, red cabbage, pickled onions and sesame.
Vegan food in the city centre
The Falafel Bowl is fully vegan. Rosemary potatoes replace the rice base, with falafel, plenty of vegetables and sesame on top. It's filling without feeling heavy.
The same menu also has salads and the Veggy Burger with falafel. If someone in your group eats vegan food, there's no need to find a different place.
Lunch, dinner or takeaway
Bowls are available from opening: Monday to Thursday from 9:00, Friday to Sunday from 9:30. On Fridays and Saturdays, we're open until midnight.
All dishes are also available to take away, so a bowl works for an office lunch break too. In the morning, we also serve Breakfast in Dortmund. To combine both, see how brunch here works.
