Sunday breakfast in Dortmund
We open at 9:30 on Sundays, with breakfast available from the start. Sleep in and come later if you like; our plates aren't just for the first hour. Sunday is our busiest day, so it's worth booking a table, especially for four or more people.

Does Café Bernstein have a breakfast buffet?
No, and that's deliberate. A buffet means queuing, lukewarm eggs and putting your own plate together. Here, breakfast arrives ready at your table, with fresh bread and rolls, freshly sliced cheese and cold cuts, and cut fruit. You choose a city; we bring the rest. If you like the variety of a buffet, choose Hamburg. It covers everything from salmon to jam.
When do you serve breakfast?
From opening: Monday to Thursday from 9:00, Friday to Sunday from 9:30. Summer and winter opening hours are on the home page.
Can I book a table for breakfast?
Yes, online in a minute. You can usually drop in on weekdays, but we recommend booking at weekends.
