Bookings on Fridays and Saturdays from 18:00
1. For table bookings on Fridays and Saturdays from 18:00, you save a payment card when booking. We do not charge your card or place a hold on your account. Your card details are stored exclusively by our payment provider Stripe Payments Europe Ltd.; Café Bernstein neither sees nor stores them.
2. You can cancel your booking free of charge at any time up to your reserved time. Simply use the link in your confirmation email or call 0231 96879846.
3. If you fail to attend and have not cancelled, and the table remains unoccupied 15 minutes after the reserved time, we charge a flat no-show fee of 10.00 euros per person booked. This compensates for the loss we incur by keeping the table available for you rather than allocating it to someone else.
4. The flat fee must be increased or reduced if we prove a greater loss or you prove a smaller loss. You are expressly permitted to prove that we incurred no loss or a substantially smaller loss.
5. The no-show fee is charged to the saved card no earlier than the day after the booking. You will receive an email with a receipt.
6. These terms do not apply to bookings on any other days or at other times. You do not save a card for those bookings, and no costs arise.
